Q-SYS NVM-302E Network Video Encoder The networked video encoder shall be a Q-SYS native Mediacast video endpoint that ingests HDMI video and audio signals and transports them over a standard IP network for distribution to one or more decoder endpoints. The encoder shall be managed, configured, and monitored exclusively through the Q-SYS platform using Q-SYS Designer Software and a Q-SYS Core processor. The encoder shall provide two HDMI 2.0b inputs capable of accepting video formats up to 4K60 4:4:4 (3840×2160 at 60 Hz, 8-bit, YUV 4:4:4). Supported input resolutions shall include UHD 4K (3840×2160), DCI 4K (4096×2160), ultrawide formats (3440×1440, 2560×1080), HD (1920×1200, 1920×1080, 1280×720), and SD (720×480, 720×576). The HDMI inputs shall support HDCP 2.3 and HDCP 1.4 content protection. The encoder shall contain a de-interlacer to support interlaced input formats including 1080i60. When both HDMI inputs are active simultaneously, the maximum accepted format per input shall be 3840×2160 at 30 Hz. The encoder shall support 8-channel PCM audio input via the HDMI connections, routable within the Q-SYS audio network. The encoder shall provide one USB-C device port and two USB-A ports for connection to a computer and USB HID device routing. The USB ports shall provide 5V DC power at 300 mA (PoE+) or 900 mA (PoE++) total, shared across all USB interfaces. The encoder shall provide two RS-232 serial control ports via 3-pin Euro connectors and two IR transmitter outputs via 3.5 mm mini jack connectors for integration with external devices. The encoder shall have one RJ-45 LAN port compliant with 1000BASE-T and 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet. The encoder shall be powered exclusively via Power over Ethernet. Under PoE+ (Type 3, Class 4), the encoder shall consume a maximum of 25 W (85 BTU/hr). Under PoE++ (Type 3, Class 5), the encoder shall consume a maximum of 30 W (102 BTU/hr). The encoder shall integrate natively with the Q-SYS ecosystem for network discovery, configuration, signal routing, firmware management, control, and monitoring. The encoder shall support NVM Zones for flexible, logical groupings of endpoints and sources. The encoder shall have an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C, a storage temperature range of −20°C to 70°C, and a maximum relative operating humidity of 90%, non-condensing. The encoder shall measure 7.3 × 5.2 × 1.2 in (185 × 131.5 × 30.5 mm) and shall weigh no more than 1.75 lbs (794 g). Versatile mounting hardware shall be included, supporting rack mounting via the Q-SYS NV Rack Mount accessory and surface mounting to a wall or other hard surface. The networked video encoder shall be the QSC Q-SYS NVM-302E.
